Gold-filled jewellery is composed of a solid layer of gold (14K) mechanically bonded to a brass base. This technique is much more resistant than a classic gold plating. A gold-filled product will oxidize much more slowly. Use only warm water and a mild soap-based detergent to clean your jewellery, air dry your jewellery before storing it away. Use a jewellery cloth to bring back the sparkle that may have washed off the jewellery with the water.
