Try to avoid direct contact with chemicals, perfumes and water to minimise tarnishing. Keep your piece in a safe place when you are not wearing it. Raw copper is hypoallergenic, however, it may develop a patina over time. This is a natural characteristic of untreated copper. To remove it, soak the piece in vinegar for a few seconds, rinse it off with water and polish with a soft cloth until shiny. It will be as good as new.
