Stainless steel, often referred to as “Superman of all metals”, is a highly durable metal, easily withstanding the wear and tear of everyday activities. Once considered the ugly duckling of white metals, stainless steel jewellery is back in vogue and here to stay...

20th CENTURY EXPERIMENT

Stainless steel - the cool alloy of iron and chromium - was invented at the beginning of 20th century by experimenting with different metal alloys.

At first, this silvery metal found its use in different industrial goods like railways and cars. Soon, the jewellers discovered its advantages as the perfect material for making a much more durable jewellery pieces. In the beginning, the material was used in watchmaking and not surprisingly in the men’s collections only. Eventually, the popularity of the stainless steel wristwatches, which were known to last a very long time, influenced its use in fashion jewellery.

COOL & EASY

Except for its incredible durability, this manmade material is hypoallergenic, will not tarnish and so it requires very little cleaning. If you hate taking off your jewellery for showering or swimming, stailess steel is perfect for you - keep it on and enjoy your water activities!
